Denoising diffusion process during generation of a two- dimensional spiral wave pattern. The diffusion model, see also section III.F,G was trained with 50,000 spiral wave patterns which were simulated with a biophysical model with a fixed parameter set. The model performs unconditional generations in which it can dream up any wave pattern from noise without any additional input.
