The PMA of the potential well line, as illustrated by the light blue line in the accompanying movie, is given by K′ = 0.6K. A segment of the low-K line is bent upward with a bend angle of θ = 80◦ , which is measured relative to the x-axis and the bend line. The skyrmion is observed to move freely along the straight segment of the low-K line, and then becomes trapped at the bend corner.
