Supplemental material

The supplementary material contains the rheological measurement data of the polymer solution with concentration 1-10000 ppm (sections S1 and S3). Section S2 includes the SEM image of the test substrate. The effect of ultrasonication on the viscosity of polymers (section S4) is shown along with the transient variation of droplet diameter during impact for different impact experiments (section S5). Section S6 includes images showing oil deposition post impact of water-oil emulsion and water-polymer-oil emulsion droplets.
