A detailed characterization of the high-entropy Al0.5TiZrPdCuNi alloy, both in a glassy and the crystalline phase(s) is presented. We present a rigorous analysis of the X-Ray diffraction patterns, the details of the thermal analysis (DSC/DTA), performed over a broad temperature range 0-1400 C0 and the critical study of the actual chemical composition and the chemical homogeneity performed with SEM/EDS. These three studies are accompanied with the appropriate figures and quantitative data.
